On 28.2.2017, Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung made an official comment on the progress of completing Metro Line 2A in Document No. 1818 / VPCP-QHQT. Accordingly, Metro 2A Cat Linh – Ha Dong will be put into commercial operation in the first quarter of 2018.
It is expected that Route 2A will commence test run (including composite alignment, unloading operation, passenger simulator operation) on 1/10/2017.
The test run time is 3 ~ 6 months, depending on the test results for commercial exploitation.
